Wine tourism and nature without leaving the hotel
An experience in a winery hotel in La Rioja cannot be complete without discovering and enjoying the wine culture that characterises our land. For this reason, the hotel’s wine cellar plays a main role in our proposal.
Integrated in the same building, with simple lines, it is characterised by a carefully designed and modern architecture. It is a functional winery, appropriate to our production capacity, and in which we have used technology that allows us to produce wines characterised by respect for the origin and the product. The winery processes grapes from the family vineyards. The winery uses simple technology that, in a traditional way, allows us to produce wines that perfectly combine the history of our land and quality.
1. THE VINEYARD
The property has 16 hectares of vineyards located in the village and divided into 30 plots in different areas around the winery. We have different types of soils, although with a predominance of pebble soils on Tertiary glaciers. The exposures are varied, although as Entrena is located to the south of the river Ebro, all of them are mainly oriented to the north.
We grow the Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Garnacha varieties to make the red wines, and Viura for the white wines, with yields that do not exceed 6500kg/ha on average. Harvesting is manual, in 200kg crates, and normally begins at the end of September with the Viura variety, followed by Garnacha, Tempranillo and finally Mazuelo. The vineyard are between 4 and 60 years old, and are located at an altitude of between 500 and 600 metres above sea level.
2. THE WINEMAKING
Our wines are unique, different. With hints of honesty and reflecting the value of the land where they are born, grow and breathe.
The aim is to maintain the character of each variety. We are selective, first selecting the bunches of grapes in the field and then on entering the winery on the sorting table, making processes that maintain the fruit and giving the wine the necessary time to refine naturally during the winter.
3. VISIT OUR WINERY

Our winery is one of the most important parts of the hotel. A small family winery with charm where you will discover, through a guided tour, the secrets of La Rioja wine in an enjoyable, fun and very interesting experience.
We offer you four types of visits so that you can choose the experience: guided visits by the winemaker, group visits with lunch included, tours of the vineyards with an explanation of all the processes… You choose!

Each of our Finca de los Arandinos wines is accompanied by its tasting card where you will discover everything about its elaboration, technical characteristics and advice from our oenologist.
